Happy Riding Pillion As Always

Hi there,
This is my first day in the blogging world.
If anybody is wondering about the logic of the title, I'll put in a little bit of background.
I'm forty now. A couple of decades back, when I was in my teens, my friend, Johann and I would cruise the streets on a mobike, me riding pillion most of the time.
Since then, I've found that 'riding pillion', both figuratively and literally, is much more fun than manouvring through the traffic with the handle-bar in one's own hands.
Too often, I find that the people who want control all the time in all situations are the most boorish and the most boring.
Life is so much better if you just enjoy the ride instead of wanting to control the ride.
